Testimonials

We’ve had a great experience with Child Garden Montessori. The staff are attentive, professional, and caring. We really appreciate the variety in the daily routine, from music classes and outdoor walks to activities that support both fine and large motor development. The facility itself is spacious, with plenty of room for indoor play during the winter and multiple outdoor areas for spring and summer. Another plus for our family is that meals and snacks are provided.

It's been lovely to see our son learning new skills and growing in confidence each day. We're glad to have found such a positive environment for him.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Child Garden over the past year and a half. When we first started looking at daycares, we weren’t specifically seeking out a Montessori school—but after our time here, we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Our daughter has grown so much—socially, emotionally, and academically. She’s made amazing friendships, has strong bonds with her teachers, and genuinely looks forward to going to school each day. The staff are nurturing, engaged, and fun! We love the sense of community that the school creates - from the teachers and parents we've met to the little school building itself which is so charming. From the summer activities, to the holiday show, to the music teacher, to the private kiddo hallway cubbies, our daughter is truly thriving here. We honestly cannot imagine a better place for our daughter to spend her early years. We are so grateful to have found Child Garden!

Holly and Mike

Our son joined Child Garden in a Toddler room shortly after we moved to Minneapolis. After carefully exploring many daycare options, we chose Child Garden as his first daycare experience—and it has been an incredible journey. Over the past 3.5 years, he has blossomed socially, emotionally, and academically. The Montessori approach has been a perfect fit for him, nurturing a strong sense of independence. He eagerly shares "the works" he chooses each day and has developed a genuine love for learning, drawing and reading that will benefit him for years to come.

He has especially thrived in his Casa classroom (ages 3-5), where he’s had the same Lead Guide and assistant teachers since he started—providing wonderful consistency and support. I also really appreciate the Brightwheel app; it makes communication with his Lead Guide and the administration seamless. Whenever I’ve had questions or concerns, they’ve been addressed quickly and thoughtfully.

The facility itself is fantastic: spacious classrooms filled with natural light from large windows, plus a huge upper gym used for Aftercare and indoor playtime. There’s also a great outdoor playground that our son loves. The summer program is exceptional too—packed with water days, art projects, field trips, and outdoor walks to nearby spots like the Sculpture Garden.

Our son has built many close friendships that extend beyond school hours, which speaks volumes about this warm and supportive community. We feel so grateful to be part of it—and we wholeheartedly recommend Child Garden to other families!
